OFFICIAL AND UNOFFICIAL IDP CAMPS IN BENUE STATE _ FJDP

This map is drawn to show the location of official and unofficial camps of the Internally Displaced Persons in Benue State of Nigeria. According to the Benue State Emergency Management Agency (BSEMA), the population of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) has increased from 1,000,007 in 2021 to over 2,000,000 by December 2022 with majority of the IDPs living in unofficial camps and host communities (some of which are remote and inaccessible).
