After WW2, the World was fully divided between Japan, Italy, Germany, and whoever else joined the Axis, Italy, and South European members left the Axis and joined together, as the Germans started to get ideas of taking land from them. Japan, and Germany had an Cold War, Italy was not in it, but was getting ready to, as Nukes were only a few months away, it was 1957.
